Julian Coryell was raised in the "family business" as his father is the famous guitar player Larry Coryell and he started to play guitar when he was very young. He attended Berklee and becoming the college’s youngest graduate then. Later, he played live with Alanis Morissette, Jewel, Aimee Mann and many more. In the video, Julian talks about how he became a session musician and what makes his sound unique. For Tonalic, he recorded numerous performances that are part of the Tonalic Library. Julian’s style is ecclectic, as has a jazz background and teaches jazz, but is capable of many things as a session player: for example authentic rock, metal, but also flamenco on a nylon string guitar.
