The Black Box Analog Design HG-2 is a saturation plugin that uses parallel pentode (6U8A) and triode (12AT7) tube stages plus a blendable parallel saturation circuit to add harmonic richness, weight, and "air" to mixes. Frequency-selective saturation, an Alt voicing switch, a 10kHz Air circuit, and custom input/output transformers let you dial in subtle warmth or aggressive coloration without losing clarity. While intended for mastering, the HG-2 is just as suitable for individual instrument and vocal tracks.
