There are many ways to misuse your plugins. One of my favourite secondary functions is using Bitcrush as a component of ambience. The aliasing artefacts generated by reducing the sample rate can be sculpted into interesting depth/texture elements of a sound. Here we get something interestingly nostalgic out of the most basic of sine-based pianos.
