🔄 Patching a second MFX into the feedback loop of the Digi-PCM Echo to add ring modulation to the delay repeats.☎️
The first MFX (running the Digi-PCM Echo engine) is set to the ‘EXT FEEDBACK’ mode, which repurposes the right side I/O as a direct in and out for the delay’s feedback loop. The second MFX (running the Ring+Freq Modulator engine) is patched to the right I/O and inserted into the feedback loop. Once connected, ring modulation is added to the delay repeats only, creating a unique atonal echo. CV from the Quaid Megaslope is then assigned to modulate the ring mod oscillator rate, adding further tonal shifts that cascade through the echoes.⛰️
