🔊 Live rolling buffer
Instead of only playing loaded samples, Refractalizer FX can continuously record incoming audio into a live rolling buffer, letting you “refractalize” whatever is happening on the channel in real time.
Multiple live rolling buffers (“Add Live Buffer”)
Create additional live buffers and set them to different lengths and/or pitches. Then cycle between buffers using the Sample Selector to jump between multiple captured time-windows of your live input.
Commit
Commit converts whatever is currently inside the selected live buffer into a regular sample in the Multi-Buffer. All committed buffers are automatically saved inside of Refractalizer’s application support folder.
Freeze
Freeze stops recording for all live buffers at once, locking the captured audio so you can play with it without the incoming signal overwriting it. This is similar to capturing audio in a looper!
Record Size
Record Size changes the length of the currently selected live buffer.
Mix + Feedback (lower-left controls)
Mix and Feedback controls
Blend dry/wet and create feedback-style recapture behaviors while staying in the flow. (These complement the broader FX + modulation ecosystem you already know from Refractalizer.)
