Once you’ve captured a variety of field recordings, there are so many ways to turn them into music. From ambient pads to deep kick drums, you can make a beat out of anything — nature sounds to household items to everything in between. In the third and final video in our three-part field recording tips series, producer & engineer Dennis Bunton demonstrates how to create kicks, snares, percussion, bass, pads and textures using samples he captured outdoors in the first installment of our field recording tutorials. He uses a variety of tools and techniques in @Ableton Live, and turns to Output Portal to process the pads and textures.
