In this episode of the Future Funk Squad Pro Remixing Course, we dive into enhancing the chorus of our remix using ARP and percussion.
Join us as we explore the process of adding an extra ARP (arpeggiator) line to inject more energy and pace into the track. We explore different synthesisers and their built-in ARP sounds to find the perfect plucky element. Along the way, we create a counter melody, experiment with filters and delays to achieve that signature ’80s sound, and even layer in some big drums.
