「 Turismo Breaks 」🚨 Performing an old skool break track made entirely with the new Turismo, our complete modular workstation.
Starting with the Squid Salmple, multiple layered breaks ‘sliced’ into Cue Sets are triggered and processed through the left side of the MCFx2 for manual low pass filter sweeps. A ‘Reese’ style bass is produced by the CIZZLE using both oscillators with thick layered detune from the chord setting. It is processed through the right side of the MCFx2 for notch filter sweep effects. Using the Squid Salmple, ASQ-1 and MEGA-TANG’s mutes, multiple layered sounds are brought in and out during the performance, emphasising hits in the breaks. Once the track is built up, the Reese bass is swapped out for a 303 line produced entirely from the Squid by a precisely modulated single hit sample sequenced by the Quaid Megaslope and ASQ-1. The Turismo provides many opportunities for variation during a full track performance such as filter sweeps, mutes, preset changes, manual sample reversals, transposition, deep layered CV control and more. 🎛️🤏
