Let Melodyne play synthesizers for you

Video by Celemony via YouTube Let Melodyne play synthesizers for you

Using an acoustic guitar as an example, Stefan demonstrates how to quickly convert any polyphonic audio recording into MIDI notes. There are two methods: One is to have a synth replicate the acoustic track note for note, essentially doubling it. The other is to derive chords from the guitar and use them to create accompanying synth pads or other sound layers. In the video, you’ll also see how to combine both methods and add Tonalics based on the extracted MIDI data. Everything shown in the video can be done identically in any edition of Melodyne, even the most basic Melodyne Essential. However, the chord extraction, as demonstrated with Melodyne studio at 0:45, would require a few extra steps in the smaller editions. 0:00 Intro 0:08 Method 1: Doubling note by note (shown with or without ARA) 0:39 Method 2: Creating layers based on chord extraction 1:02 Additional MIDI editing and layering of synths … 1:12 … and Tonalics For more on Melodyne: https://www.celemony.com Why not try Melodyne 30 days for free, without any limitations? https://www.celemony.com/en/trial Buy Melodyne: https://shop.celemony.com Follow us on Social Media: https://www.instagram.com/celemony_ https://www.threads.net/celemony_ https://www.facebook.com/celemony https://x.com/celemony #melodyne #celemony
