After having explored a couple of factory presets in part 1 and found the one that worked best as a starting point for Allen Hinds (@allenhindsguitar) and then played with Axiom’s built-in effects in part 2, let’s get even further by loading a very special VST plug-in: Blue Cat’s AcouFiend!
The AcouFiend plug-in lets you simulate acoustic feedback “in the box”, even at low volume or with headphones. It can create all sorts of feedback tones and spices up amp simulations by adding extra harmonics to sustained notes.
Watch Allen as he discovers this new effect and tames it quickly after just a few notes. He even ends up using it as a creative tool to explore new tonal landscapes!
