The ‘hoover’ or ‘mentasm’ is a classic sound heard in rave and dance music. Used by The Prodigy, Joey Beltram, Human Resource… and even Rihanna! The original sound is from the Roland Alpha Juno 2 synth, but you can recreate it using any modern software synth like Serum or Vital.
